A$AP Rocky and the rest of the A$AP crew paid tribute to their fallen member, Yams, over the weekend during a memorial service at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in New York City.
The A$AP Mob co-creator’s legacy was memorialized with a quote printed on laminated cards for the service that read, “if i die before i wake i pray that A$AP will be great my momma good and my girl be late so It’ll be another me and the world be straight.”
While the exact cause of the 26-year-old hasn’t been revealed, Rocky got after people claiming Yams died as a result of an overdose, “People were saying that Yams overdosed on drugs — he didn’t overdose on any drugs. I feel like people feel that way because that’s all he’s in pictures doing. When you see A$AP Yams you see Hennessey or purple drink, you see some type of controlled substance or illegal narcotic.”
