Some artists make music. Others live the stories they tell…Dayton, Ohio native Raxz has experienced more hardship than most. After serving an 11-year prison sentence and losing both of his parents, he found himself at a crossroads. Rather than letting those experiences define him, he chose to turn his pain into purpose through music.

One of the driving forces behind his journey is a letter left by his mother before her passing. In it, she encouraged him to focus on his faith and pursue the music she believed he was destined to create. Her words became a source of motivation and continue to influence every step of his career.

Since recommitting himself to his craft, Raxz has built an impressive résumé, working alongside artists such as Sally Sossa, Slatt Zy, and Trecinco. His talent and persistence also earned him recognition from XXL Magazine’s “Artist to Watch” feature in 2022.

While the road to success has been anything but easy, Raxz has remained determined. Through setbacks, industry challenges, and moments of doubt, he has continued pushing forward with one goal in mind: creating music that inspires others to keep going no matter what they face.

Now he’s preparing for the release of City of Dragons, a project he calls his most powerful work yet. Featuring production from Sauce Sinatra, Yung Steely, and contributors from 808 Mafia, the project is expected to showcase both his growth and his versatility as an artist.
