Born on August 11, Slique Jay Adams, known simply as Slique, is a distinguished balladeer from Chicago, with roots in both the south and west sides of the city. Raised in a musically-inclined family, his father was a multi-talented musician in an R&B/gospel band, and his great-grandmother was also a singer.
