After two back to back Ontario tours and a closing slot at Canadian Music Week, CULTMTL’s Top 10 Hip Hop act for four years running (2010 – 2014) Myer Clarity is set to launch his new single “She Won’t” from his soon-to-be released full length sophomore studio album, BYOB.
The college rock-inspired anthem combines Clarity’s signature witty lyricism with a playful, over the top delivery in what is the retelling of how the captivated turns captive in a relationship gone south. In what is best described as “if Rodney Dangerfield decided to drop rhymes”, the young Montrealer turned Toronto transplant lightheartedly treads on a Rancid inspired guitar-line between a monstrous chorus sung by East End Radical’s frontman Scott Douglas.
Paired with a video shot & directed by long-time collaborator Illvibe and featuring stunning Suicide Girl Lucy Lovesick, Myer Clarity’s third single from the LP positions itself as a college radio summer hit and won’t be leaving listeners playlists any time soon.
