LulShawn, who is an upcoming artist emerging from Southeast DC, showed everybody that down south rappers can create meaningful content too. His new mixtape “Life Before Success”, which you can be find on Spinrilla, is the truth.
On this project, LulShawn shares with his fans how it was growing up in darkness. Growing up violence and being forced to fend for yourself at a early age, would create a lot of anger inside anyone. This is something he had to face coming from very little and seeing his mother struggle to take care of him.
People in his community that he encounter along his journey ain’t make it no better with their fakeness. All they did was turn this young rapper into a hardcore savage. LulShawn had big dreams and goals he wanted to accomplish to escape battling wars in the streets, but unfortunately the cards he was dealt, didn’t have it set up for him like that.
Although the haters made it difficult for him to pursue his dreams drama free, LulShawn ended up achieving a lot of success in his rap career. As he continued to grow and remain focused, his circle began to change for the better. The best has yet to come for this incredible star, but he wants all his fans to know that his time is coming.
My favorite songs off the mixtape are “Hard Times, Lonely, and Stand My Ground” because I can relate to his pain. I know what’s it’s like to struggle, have people leave you for dead, and take your kindness for weakness. I highly recommend you download his new mixtape on Spinrilla asap. https://www.spinrilla.com/mixtapes/lul-hawn-life-before-sucess
