Born in Mansfield Ohio, GMT Armani started taking music seriously only in 2017 by dropping “Came From” alongside fellow GMT members “Shad Dolla” and “A1”. Aside from this, Armani has even performed in shows that also featured Lil Durk, G Herbo, Lil Baby, Waka Flocka, and many other notable artists.
Armani’s versatility and flow as an artist is what separates him from the rest. He notes that his platform has grown pretty organically, stating, “We really got it out the mud dropping songs and doin’ shows”. But he doesn’t show any signs of slowing anytime soon.
Armani notes that his career keeps moving upward, so his ideal version of success is still being formed as he continues to see all the possibilities that are out there for his career. One of his biggest accomplishments to date is when his group sold out a show in their city when they first started out, saying “the rest is history”.
A major driving principle for GMT Armani’s career is to keep his head down, stay focused, and respect the process. He fully understands that the process takes time and success doesn’t just spring up overnight. Armani is willing to put in the work to get to the top.
