Bed Stuy lyrical bombshell Pretty Dij is a driven and motivated young woman who is a beast on the mic as well as the life of the party.
Dij started doing music after the tragic passing of her daughter’s father in 2018. With the help of her LTD (Loyalty Till Death) team, they noticed her natural talent as a rapper and she started recording professionally in the Summer of 2019, debuting with her single “Welcome To The Party”. Since then, she has worked with such artists as Handsome Balla and Bizzy Banks as well as performing at venues and events such as S.O.B.’s and the Biggie Smalls’ Block Party.
Aside from Meek Mill and the late Nipsey Hussle being her influences, people often compare her to Lil Kim, her favorite rap influence whom she had the pleasure of meeting.
Pretty Dij believes that the realness of rap has been overshadowed and oversaturated by too much fakeness, therefore, making it her mission is to bring hardcore rap back for the ladies, giving them the respect that they deserve.
