Tagged by Complex (Canada) as ‘the West Coast’s Next Break-Out Act’ Afghan-Canadian rapper and Vancouver representer, Kresnt, has teamed up with fellow Vancouverites, Dance R&B duo DiRTY RADIO for his latest visual release, “2 Reckless.”
The song is a follow-up to last years successful 6-song EP, “The Lunar Phase”, which featured production and engineering from 55x Grammy-Nominated Ken Lewis (Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Wu Tang, Mark Ronson etc.)
Kresnt’s standout from “The Lunar Phase” is “In Your Place”, the visual for which amassed over 2M views on YouTube in just 3 months – bringing Kresnt’s combined streams to a whopping 11M across the DSP’s.
Credited for his hard-hitting lyrics; a testament to his Afghan roots, Kresnt berates his latest fling for being “2 Reckless” on today’s offering. Presented by Vancouver-based 604 Records, home to DiRTY RADIO, the duo add a catchy, party vibe to the dressing down that will take this song long in to the summer.
