Columbus, Ohio definitely has talented artists rising out of the city. Shootem, who is a 22 year old rapper with his own unique sound is one of them. He already dropped two mixtapes, letting it be known that he will soon have a seat on the throne next to the elite. On December 14th he will be dropping his 3rd project called “Disappointed”, where he shares his struggles, failures, progress, and transformation.
Shootem will also release his new single Ms. Butter Worth ft. his cousin Trippie Redd and Young Thug’s artist Lil Keed. I got the opportunity to hear the record and can tell you all that it’s fire. This one is definitely for the radio and the clubs. On this track they spoke about being one of the biggest flirts in the game, living stress free, dodging 12, being fearless, shining hard after grinding each day, and never letting any of the vultures get the best of them. I’m sure you can all relate in some kind of way to this message.
At the end of the day, Shootem’s only goal is to make music everybody can feel and enjoy. For the year 2019 he looks to tour the world, connect with new people, and make a difference in his community, so get ready to vibe out to the new goat tape.
