Between Reloaded and Let’s Go, two of Darrein Safron’s biggest collab contributions in 2017, the St. Louis product showcased his diversity, flexing his rap skills to accompany his signature smooth crooning (displayed on 2017’s Lover Friend).
His first release of, 2018, Ends combines both. Atop Seven and TKGotHitz atmospheric, bass-centric production, Darrein showcases a swift, skating flow, paced by his syrupy crooning on the hook. Despite the difference in styles, Darrein’s crisp, clean delivery fuses them together without ever missing a beat or seeming out of place. Not attached to anything bigger (as of yet) Ends is surely a sign of big things to come for Darrein this year!
