When attempting to describe Long Island, NY’s John Jigg$, one word immediately comes to mind, Versatility. John seems to have the ability to transition from a hardcore, bar for bar, gritty New York style of hip-hop to melodic, bass-heavy, 808 trap-style music effortlessly.

Since releasing his debut solo offering D.R.U.G.$ (Destined to Reach Undeniable Greatnes$) in 2013 spawning regional hit “I Will Not Lose”, and earned him 2 Long Island Music Awards including Mixtape of the Year and Best New Artist. Jigg$ has consistently been making a name for himself on both the internet and the streets.

Boasting a strong commanding voice, witty punchlines and down to earth subject matter, along with an impeccable ear for top notch production Jigg$ has all the makings of your favorite hip hop artist. Following up with the 2014 Sophmore effort D.R.U.G.$. 2, a sequal to his classic debut, John has managed to further solidified the fanfare. The project showed incredible growth as an artist and featured hip-hop legend Grandaddy IU (“Long Island Fresh”)and rising star Typ-ILL (“Who u Wit”) and PillzBury (“How We Do”). This would be Jigg$ introduction into the Blogs, one of the most important tools for today’s hip-hop artists. Having been linked to prominent indie label Deep Concepts Media, Jigg$ has garnered the interest of Infamous Records (Mobb Deep) and even 50 Cent who makes a special cameo appearance in the visual for “Bill Cosby” from Jigg$’ 2015 EP #51631.

The title includes the area codes from Long Island’s neighboring counties Nassau (516) and Suffolk (631) combined. The 6 song lyrical tirade features Queens Bridge veteran Nature (The Firm), Pittsburgh’s B. White (58’s) and long -time collaborator Typ-ILL. The project was features on numerous publications both print and online and was even named the “Top Releases of July 2015” by wordisbond.com and was featured on Sirius satellite radio.

Recently, Jigg$ enlisted Boston rhyme veteran Reks for his latest single “The Reason”, in which they pay homage to loved ones who have passed on. The two trade bars in a heartfelt depiction of real life situations and what motivates them to continue following their dreams. Jigg$ has become a blog favorite featured on 2dopeboyz.com and egotrip.com as well. His music currently is played on FM, Sirus Satelite radio and college radio stations across the world.

In 2016 John has emerged forming his own music company MXNXPXLY and Is currently prepping a new project that will feature underground hip hop legend Diabolic, Boston Duo Natural Born Spittas (Snowgoons) and many more. Jigg$ is now taking the music industry by storm with his brand new album Twin Cannons. Jigg$ linked up with Sweden’s very own K-Sluggah, producer and rapper of Hip Hop group Muddy Fatique Crew, to create the masterpiece of the album.
