Born and raised in the infamous streets of South Central, Tyson Crookmind (aka T.Y.), has lived a life full of painful lessons but – he’s survived like a true champion.
His debut project, “Free The Real” focuses on everything he’s learned through a life on the streets, prison and beyond. The 9-track project tells the complex story of his life thus far, from his neighborhood blocks and gangbangin’ to feeling trapped behind bars and fighting murder charges.
