“Sound of the Police” is a track which was introduced as an idea to St. Ivan the Terrible by his late comrade in music, Pumpkinhead (PH) back in early 2014.
Initially it was supposed to be for PH and St. Ivan, but some things transpired within that time. St. Ivan went away and PH unfortunately passed away, so St. Ivan reached out to the homie Senica Da Misfit to partake on it with him and Senica went in.
“It’s a song most definitely needed for the times now present,” St. Ivan explains. “This is what Hip Hop has always been about: being the voice of the people, and for those who need someone to speak for them, but in lyrical form.”
St. Ivan dedicates this track to PH for the vision and to all the brothers and sisters unjustifiably murdered by police or any law enforcement.
