After a two year span since the release of his debut album “Let’s Build”, 7oddz precision bar splitter Clever One debuts his second solo offering in the form of a fourteen track EP entitled “Wild Seed”. In true Seven Oddities fashion, the debut single “Who’s This” gets it’s instrumental ensemble from founding father, DreamTek. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Clever and Seven Oddities Records, the powerhouse imprint has been burning down booths and melting mics since early 2000, solidifying themselves as a staple point among the Chicago Hip Hop scene.
“Who’s This?” showcases Clever’s solo material mindframe, following a less brutal approach than his previous verses featured on the 7oddz “Out For Blood” mixtape series. The crew has been compared to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan with Clev drawing comparisons to GZA. Together with Tek, the duo work the camera lens and editing software to put together a smooth visual introduction for the recently released album.
