Hailing from the birthplace of Hip Hop, the boogie down Bronx, and having parents in the entertainment industry, it didn’t take long for YNVS Recording artist Conan to find his passion as an emcee.
Being blessed with the name “Energy God” by hip hop superstar N.O.R.E. only fueled his drive. As he gears up for his third album, appropriately titled Trilogy of the Energy God, Conan is carrying the momentum of his recent successful SXSW performances of the first single from the EP, the bonafide IdeaBeatz-produced club banger “Drink on Me” and the latest single, the mesmerizing “ Twerk Baby” featuring Jeffrey Padilla serving as a lyrical ode to the queen of twerk herself, Kaylin Garcia.
Conan solidifies his talent and versatility on Trilogy of the Energy God with all 14 tracks including the fun and braggadocious “I’m the Man” produced by Nailz Beatz where he rhymes:
“All these ladies really love me / they just kissed up on my dimples / thinking I’m the new Cool J / But it’s me Conan / I be lit up on the gram / Gotta follow I’m a movie”
and the more serious and uplifting anti-bully track “I Know Your Tired” produced by Justobeatz that he performs for kids at schools across New York City.
Conan also recently teamed up with Platinum Recording Artist Maino and fellow labelmate Brooke Lynne for the single and video “Got Rich” which is featured on his mixtape, Energy God Pt. 1, setting up his upcoming EP nicely and shining a light on Conan as hip hop force or “energy” to be reckoned with.
