Young Ros 2

The streets of South Philadelphia has never been easy to grow up in. Young Ros who was raised in Wilson Park Projects can definitely testify to this. Unfortunately he was one who could not escape getting caught up in the street. Young Ros tried going down the right path working a job, but getting robbed changed the way he maneuvered in the streets, and shortly after that he found himself getting sentenced to 9 years in prison. Ever since he was released he has been releasing a lot of music and performing at some of the biggest events in town.

Young Ros who is a creative artist with a story to tell share with people, which could change anybody’s life who have faced the same struggles. In the year 2015 he dropped two mixtapes called “No Baking Soda” where he recorded over different radio hits showing off his real skills. After building up his momentum and attracting fans to him via social media off his first mixtape, he then released his second one called “Set Up Shop”, which was a masterpiece documenting his story about how it was coming up in the streets. The results from these two projects caught the eye of DJ Envy, DJ Diamond Kuts, DJ Cosmic Kev, Buda Da Future, and many more. His drive, passion, and hard work landed him the opportunity to tear the stage down at SXSW, A3C Festival, and a number of private parties surrounding the BET Music Awards.

2016 just started and already Young Ros continues to get his music in front of the right people. Recently I came across his music on Instagram and decided to check him out. I was very proud to come across such greatness which inspired me to want to build with him and support the movement. My favorite songs from his first two mixtapes are Down In My DM remix, Pray For Em, I Be On My Grind, Growing Pains, In Ya Feelings, Do Me Like That, and No Trust. His sick flows, metaphors, and realness got him in a bracket of his own. Recently Young Ros dropped another club banger called “THOT List” on Valentine’s Day. This goes extremely hard and is a hit for the radio that everyone gravitate towards and want to get their Dab and Milly Rock dance on. I highly recommend you all check out his new single below and tell a friend to tell a friend.
