When it’s time to blow, it’s just time to blow. And it’s that time for Maine, a dynamic artist from Long Island, whose “I Can’t Explain It” single has the fellas grooving and the ladies falling in love with Hip Hop/R&B, allows you to experience the depth of this passionate artist.
Growing up competing in talent shows and singing in church, Maine had a natural evolution into the music game. With his striking ability to paint realistic pictures of everyday scenarios within the streets, he personally coined as Ghetto R&B, but it does not stop there. Maine has been featured in several different shows through out the East Coast at venues such as; The Vanderbilt, in Suffolk Co. where he opened for 112 and Erick Sermon on two separate occasions in 2000. And in 2002 he appeared on the stage of the Baltimore Arena along the sides of some of the heaviest hitters in the game like; 50 Cent, Baby (from Cash Money Records), Trina and the Clipse.
This brother has been on the grind pushing thousands of CDs on the street himself. Maine continues to make it happen by writing his own material having musical muses such as Donnell Jones, R. Kelly, Marvin Gaye, and Avant. Yet, has the vocal essence of Dave Hollister or Teddy Pendergrass.
