Beyoncé made a huge splash last year when she surprised everyone by releasing her self-titled album. Her single “Drunk In Love,” made a big impact as it ruled the airwaves for a long time after its release.
Now it seems like the success of that song is bringing a brand new lawsuit on their hands.
According to TMZ, Monika Miczura or as known by her alias Mitsou is suing Mrs. Carter for the sample used in the first 13 seconds of the song. Apparently the track was recorded in 1995, and she is looking for some money as she claims she was not asked permission to use the track as well as the right to stop anyone from playing it with her voice involved.
