Washington Heights bred rap artist Bernard Lewis, AKA “Real Deal” Berns is bringing the art of authentic storytelling back into hip-hop. Departing from the modern “mumble rap” craze, Berns’ vocals are clear with classic New York tonality, backed by heavy southern bass.
