After releasing his albums Musikyo and Genkidama, Paris’ own Kyo Itachi is back with his third album, Rest In Power.
Kyo is in constant elevation to create this very special project during four years of hard work. Timeless, sample based Hip Hop music, produced with an arsenal of classic machines like the MPC 2000 XL and SP1200.
Crunchy beats, crackling samples, razor sharp cuts and a roster of high caliber emcees like Roc Marciano, Smoothe Da Hustler, Planet Asia, Royal Flush, Chino XL, Ruste Juxx, the late Sean Price and more. He is also working with such upcoming artists such as the Bankai Fam Collective.
Kyo brings us one of the many singles out of the Rest In Power album. “Voodoo Magic,” comes to life as a visual featuring appearances from hip hop veterans DV Alias Khryst & Lord Have Mercy.
Kyo dedicates the album to the memory of his late mother.
