Known for his hit single, “Hot 97”, Staten Island’s own Last American B-Boy is a man who wears many hats: Director, videographer, producer and last but not least, an emcee who is releasing his upcoming mixtape, Nickel Bag on Pharoahe Monch’s W.A.R. Media label.
Him and I decided to meet up in my neck of the woods for some $3 hipster tacos (which really should have been $1) in some shanty taco shack on a very snowy Tuesday afternoon, not as bad as it is outside now. Besides his love for hip hop, there we spoke about his involvement at W.A.R. Media and Nickel Bag.
