In 2000, Eminem appeared in court to answer charges resulting from two incidents, including brandishing an unloaded gun and assaulting a nightclub bouncer after he alleged that he saw him kissing his then wife Kim (who Eminem made famous on The Marshall Mathers LP song by the same name). As a result of the incidents, Eminem was given two years probation.
