According to Nova, “Waking up is the hardest part, but doing what I do everyday has become the easiest thing” Being his first love, the Haitian / Jamaican R n B rock star has been singing for as long as he can remember. Influenced by musical greats such as Michael Jackson, Sammie, Ginuwine, Tank, Tyrese, and Usher, he has learned a variety of things and is inspired by them daily. Born on November 27th, 1992 and raised in Miami Florida, the amazing male vocalist was formerly known as Nick. After moving to Queens Village in 2002, the soulful seductive sounds of “Cas” was unheard of until he made his high school debut performance. Known for serenading women, he quickly earned the name Nova. Performing at several high school events, parties, and showcases has helped him to develop quite a following in the Long Island and Queens area. Needless to say, the ladies have grown to love Nova. When he’s not rocking the stage or writing a new charismatic verse, Nova can be found training. Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, and boxing are amongst his favorite arts forms.
